Dallas police told NBC 5 that officers were sent to the area shortly after 2 p.m. on August 18, 2026, after receiving a call requesting an ambulance for an officer involved in a collision. The department later said the officer was in stable condition.
Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed that its crews were dispatched at 2:51 p.m. and transported one person to a hospital.
