A deadly multi-vehicle crash in Dallas claimed the life of a woman and left a juvenile seriously injured early Sunday morning. According to Dallas police, officers responded around 3:56 a.m. to a major crash near North Henderson Avenue on North Central Expressway. Investigators said a silver pickup truck traveling northbound veered across two lanes before striking a concrete barrier and support pillar. Police said the silver pickup then reentered the roadway and struck a red pickup truck, causing the red truck to crash into a concrete barrier and stop in the lanes of traffic. The silver pickup continued forward before striking the barrier a second time. Four passengers in the silver pickup were taken to a hospital, where an adult woman later died. A juvenile passenger remained hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the silver pickup was arrested at the scene, and police said charges would be released after booking into the Dallas County Jail. Fatal crashes involving arrested drivers require a thorough investigation. A Texas wrongful death lawyer can review whether speeding, intoxication, distracted driving, reckless driving, unsafe lane changes, vehicle defects, roadway conditions, or another preventable factor contributed to the collision. Crash evidence can disappear quickly. Black box data, vehicle damage, crash scene photos, surveillance footage, dashcam video, witness statements, police reports, toxicology results, medical records, and crash reconstruction evidence may all be critical to determining what happened and who may be responsible. If your loved one was killed or seriously injured in a Dallas car accident, North Central Expressway crash, DWI crash, reckless driving collision, or Texas wrongful death case, your family may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for funeral expenses, medical bills, lost financial support, mental anguish, loss of companionship, and other damages. Highway 6 Crash Involving 18-Wheeler Diesel Spill
A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 6 near Addicks Satsuma in Harris County involved an 18-wheeler and three other vehicles, prompting a hazmat response after the truck leaked diesel fuel. Reports said minor injuries were reported, and northbound lanes were closed while crews cleaned up the scene. Crashes involving 18-wheelers can become more dangerous when diesel spills or hazardous materials are involved. A Texas truck accident attorney can investigate whether driver error, speed, following distance, distraction, vehicle maintenance, or trucking company safety failures contributed to the crash. When multiple vehicles are involved, liability may not be obvious at first. Evidence such as crash reports, dashcam footage, black box data, maintenance records, driver logs, hazmat cleanup reports, and witness statements can help determine what happened. If you or a loved one was injured in a Texas 18-wheeler accident, you may have the right to pursue compensation for medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages. Three 18-Wheelers Involved in I-45 Crash Near Madisonville
A major crash involving three 18-wheelers and a pickup truck shut down both directions of I-45 just south of Madisonville. According to reports, the crash happened near FM 2989 and caused hours of traffic delays between Huntsville and Madisonville. Officials said an 18-wheeler carrying steel beams was traveling southbound when it crashed, rolled over, and lost its load. Traffic slowed on the opposite side of the freeway after the initial crash, and two other 18-wheelers reportedly crashed while trying to avoid the backup. Officials said one of those 18-wheelers struck a pickup truck. The driver of the first 18-wheeler was taken to the hospital with head and arm injuries, and the pickup driver was airlifted to the hospital. Multi-truck crashes involving spilled cargo require a thorough investigation. A Texas truck accident lawyer can review whether driver fatigue, distraction, unsafe speed, improper load securement, brake failure, tire failure, following distance, traffic conditions, or trucking company safety practices contributed to the crash. Truck accident evidence can disappear quickly. Black box data, driver logs, electronic logging records, inspection reports, maintenance records, cargo securement records, dashcam footage, roadway debris, crash scene photos, witness statements, police reports, and crash reconstruction evidence may all be critical to determining what happened and who may be responsible. If you or your loved one was injured in a Madisonville 18-wheeler accident, I-45 truck crash, steel beam cargo spill, or Texas commercial vehicle collision, you may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, future care needs, property damage, and other damages. Family Sues After Deputy Constable Killed in I-10 Truck Crash
The family of a Jefferson County reserve deputy constable has filed a wrongful death lawsuit after she was killed in a crash on I-10 near Winnie while assisting with traffic control in a construction zone. Reports state that an 18-wheeler struck her patrol vehicle while its emergency lights were activated. The lawsuit alleges the truck driver was inattentive and speeding, and also claims the construction contractor failed to properly secure the work zone. This tragedy highlights how complex fatal work-zone truck crashes can be. A Texas wrongful death attorney can investigate whether the truck driver reduced speed, kept a proper lookout, obeyed construction-zone safety rules, and whether the work zone had proper warning signs, barriers, lane closures, crash trucks, or traffic-control protections. When a commercial truck crash happens in a construction zone, liability may extend beyond the driver. The trucking company, construction contractor, maintenance providers, or other responsible parties may all need to be examined. Families should act quickly in these cases. Critical evidence may include dashcam footage, cell phone records, GPS data, black box data, maintenance logs, work-zone plans, driver logs, and witness statements. If your loved one was killed in a Texas 18-wheeler crash or work-zone accident, your family may have the right to pursue justice and compensation. Call (214) 699-6524 for a free consultation.
