Two drivers were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 144 South in Granbury. According to local officials, the crash happened around 7:13 a.m. in the 3000 block of Highway 144 South at Rock Harbor Drive, just south of Stumpy’s. Granbury Police, Granbury Fire, and Texas EMS responded to the scene. Because of the severity of the collision, both northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 144 were diverted for approximately two hours. Drivers from two of the vehicles were flown by CareFlite and Air Evac Lifeteam helicopters to a Fort Worth hospital with serious bodily injuries. Granbury police said the initial investigation indicated that the alleged at-fault driver was traveling southbound and made a left-hand turn in front of northbound traffic, outside of an intersection, failing to yield the right of way and causing the crash. The roadway has since reopened. Serious crashes involving left turns and failure to yield require a careful investigation to determine exactly how the collision occurred. A Texas car accident lawyer can review whether driver inattention, failure to yield, unsafe turning, speed, visibility, roadway design, traffic conditions, vehicle defects, or another factor contributed to the wreck. Evidence from a major crash can be lost quickly once the roadway is reopened and vehicles are removed. Police reports, crash scene photographs, vehicle damage, roadway markings, debris patterns, witness statements, dashcam footage, medical records, helicopter transport records, and crash reconstruction findings may all help determine fault and protect the injured victims’ legal rights. If you or your loved one was seriously injured in a Granbury car accident, Highway 144 crash, Rock Harbor Drive collision, Hood County wreck, or Texas failure-to-yield accident, you may have legal options to pursue compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, property damage, and other damages. 11 Injured, 2 Airlifted After Goldsboro Crash Involving 18-Wheeler

A serious multi-vehicle crash in Goldsboro injured 11 people, including two who were airlifted, after a wreck involving multiple vehicles and an 18-wheeler on U.S. 70. According to ABC11, first responders were called around 12:47 p.m. Saturday to the area of U.S. 70 and North Oak Forest Road after reports of a major crash. Officials said 11 patients were treated at the scene or transported to nearby hospitals. Two people were flown to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. Authorities had not immediately released the conditions of those injured, and the crash remains under investigation. Several agencies responded, including the Goldsboro Police Department, Goldsboro Fire Department, Elroy Fire Department, Wayne County EMS, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Multi-vehicle crashes involving 18-wheelers require a thorough investigation. A truck accident lawyer can review whether driver fatigue, distraction, unsafe speed, following distance, improper lane changes, brake failure, tire failure, roadway conditions, or trucking company safety practices contributed to the crash. Truck accident evidence can disappear quickly. Black box data, driver logs, inspection records, maintenance records, dashcam footage, vehicle damage, roadway debris, crash scene photos, witness statements, police reports, medical records, and crash reconstruction evidence may all be critical to determining what happened and who may be responsible. If you or your loved one was injured in an 18-wheeler accident, multi-vehicle wreck, or serious commercial vehicle collision, you may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, future care needs, and other damages. An 18-wheeler overturned at a Shreveport intersection Sunday afternoon, causing a traffic hazard as emergency crews responded. Six People Found Dead in Union Pacific Boxcar in Laredo

A death investigation is underway in Laredo after six people were found dead inside a Union Pacific railcar near the Texas-Mexico border. According to reports, Laredo police received a call Sunday afternoon about multiple possible fatalities in a boxcar at the Union Pacific railyard in the 12000 block of Jim Young Way near mile marker 13. Officers arrived and found six people inside the railcar, and medics pronounced all six dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or confirmed their cause of death. Union Pacific said it is cooperating with law enforcement as the investigation continues. Officials have also not confirmed the immigration status of the deceased. Fatal incidents involving railcars, railyards, or enclosed transportation spaces require a thorough investigation. A Texas wrongful death lawyer can review whether unsafe railcar conditions, inadequate inspections, security failures, lack of monitoring, heat exposure, delayed emergency response, or other preventable factors contributed to the deaths. Evidence can disappear quickly after a rail-related death investigation. Surveillance footage, railcar inspection records, train movement logs, security records, employee reports, 911 calls, police reports, medical examiner findings, temperature data, and witness statements may all be critical to determining what happened and who may be responsible. If your loved one was killed in a fatal incident involving unsafe transportation conditions, your family may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for funeral expenses, lost financial support, mental anguish, loss of companionship, and other damages.
