A man was killed early Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, after exiting his vehicle to assess damage from a minor crash on Interstate 35W in Fort Worth. According to WFAA, Fort Worth police said officers responded around 1:58 a.m. to I-35W at East Ripy Street. The man was checking damage from the earlier minor crash when another driver hit him and left the scene. Fatal freeway crashes can happen quickly when someone is forced out of a vehicle near fast-moving traffic. Investigators may need to determine whether the striking driver was speeding, distracted, impaired, failed to keep a proper lookout, or had enough time and distance to avoid the man. Evidence such as dashcam footage, traffic cameras, nearby surveillance video, vehicle damage, debris patterns, lighting conditions, 911 calls, witness statements, and event data recorder information may be critical in determining what happened. If you lost a loved one in a Fort Worth freeway crash, I-35W pedestrian accident, or fatal hit-and-run collision, you may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for funeral expenses, loss of companionship, mental anguish, lost financial support, and other damages. Pedestrian Killed in Richardson Crash on North Central Expressway Frontage Road

A fatal pedestrian crash in Richardson claimed the life of one person on May 25, 2026, after the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles. According to Richardson police, officers received multiple 911 calls around 9:44 p.m. reporting a person walking in the roadway in the 2400 block of the west frontage road of North Central Expressway. While officers were responding, additional callers reported that the pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. Richardson Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead. Police said preliminary findings indicate the pedestrian was in the left lane of traffic when they were struck by one vehicle and then struck a second time by another vehicle. Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin, and the Richardson Police Department Special Crash Investigation Team is investigating. Fatal pedestrian crashes require a thorough investigation, especially when a person is struck by multiple vehicles in a roadway. A Texas wrongful death lawyer can review whether driver speed, visibility, roadway lighting, distraction, traffic conditions, pedestrian access, roadway design, or another preventable factor contributed to the collision. Evidence can disappear quickly after a fatal pedestrian accident. Vehicle damage, black box data, dashcam footage, surveillance video, 911 calls, crash scene photos, roadway lighting conditions, witness statements, police reports, medical examiner findings, and crash reconstruction evidence may all be critical to determining what happened and who may be responsible. If your loved one was killed in a Richardson pedestrian accident, North Central Expressway frontage road crash, Dallas County fatal pedestrian collision, or Texas wrongful death case involving multiple vehicles, your family may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for funeral expenses, lost financial support, mental anguish, loss of companionship, and other damages. 20-Year-Old Dies After TEXRail Train Crash in Fort Worth

A 20-year-old man died after a crash involving a TEXRail train in Fort Worth. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the crash happened on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in the 3800 block of North Sylvania Avenue near East Long Avenue, between the Northside and Mercantile Center TEXRail stations. Crews initially responded around 11 a.m. after a vehicle was struck by a TEXRail train. The victim, identified as Harrison William Bradford, died after midnight Friday at John Peter Smith Hospital, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. Trinity Metro officials said rail infrastructure was damaged in the crash, causing several hours of repairs and delays to TEXRail service. Train and vehicle crashes require a thorough investigation. A Texas wrongful death lawyer can review whether crossing signals, gates, train horn use, sightlines, roadway design, train speed, driver visibility, rail infrastructure, or another preventable factor contributed to the collision. Train crash evidence can disappear quickly. Event recorder data, crossing signal records, train camera footage, vehicle damage, crash scene photos, roadway measurements, witness statements, police reports, medical records, and rail company investigation findings may all be critical to determining what happened and who may be responsible. If your loved one was killed in a Fort Worth train crash, TEXRail collision, North Sylvania Avenue accident, or Texas wrongful death case involving a vehicle and train, your family may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for funeral expenses, medical bills, lost financial support, mental anguish, loss of companionship, and other damages. Two Killed, One Critically Injured in Killeen Head-On Crash

Two people were killed and one person was critically injured in a head-on collision in Killeen on Monday morning, June 1, 2026. According to KWTX, the crash happened around 7:40 a.m. in the 700 block of East Stan Schlueter Loop, between Trimmier Road and Velma Drive. Investigators said a 2024 gray Toyota SUV traveling westbound drifted into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2016 gray Kia SUV. The 41-year-old Toyota driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kia’s driver and passenger were taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, where the 73-year-old passenger later died. The 77-year-old Kia driver remained in critical condition. Killeen police said investigators were looking into whether impairment played a role, and an autopsy was ordered for the Toyota driver. Head-on crashes are often catastrophic because both vehicles may absorb the force of impact at roadway speed. Investigators may need to determine why the Toyota crossed into oncoming traffic, whether impairment, distraction, fatigue, speed, medical issues, vehicle defects, roadway design, or another factor contributed to the collision. Evidence such as crash scene measurements, witness statements, vehicle inspections, event data recorder information, toxicology findings, surveillance video, dashcam footage, and police reconstruction findings may be critical in understanding what happened. If you were injured in a Killeen car accident, East Stan Schlueter Loop crash, or serious head-on collision, you may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, mental anguish, impairment, and other damages. If you lost a loved one, your family may also have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim for funeral expenses, loss of companionship, mental anguish, lost financial support, and other damages.
