A Fort Worth police pursuit ended in a fatal crash after officers reportedly saw a vehicle driving without headlights on I-35W near Rosedale Street around 2:34 a.m. Police said the vehicle fled, struck other vehicles during the pursuit, and was later found crashed off the roadway in the 1500 block of Tarver Road.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and a passenger was taken to the hospital.
Police pursuit crashes can raise complicated legal questions. A Texas wrongful death attorney can investigate the driver’s actions, the reason for the attempted stop, pursuit decisions, crash reconstruction evidence, vehicle data, roadway conditions, and whether any other motorists were injured or affected.
Even when a driver flees police, the full circumstances still matter. Families and injured passengers may need answers about what happened before, during, and after the chase.
If your loved one was killed or injured in a Fort Worth police chase crash, I-35 accident, or Texas wrongful death case, legal help can make a difference.
