Three people were hospitalized, including one in critical condition, after a violent two-vehicle crash near Mockingbird Lane and Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas early Sunday morning, May 24, 2026.

According to FOX 4, Dallas police and Dallas Fire-Rescue responded around 4:30 a.m. and found two heavily damaged vehicles under a roadway bridge. Fire crews requested a heavy rescue response after multiple occupants were pinned in the wreckage.

FOX 4 reported that police said the driver of a dark-colored car was traveling northbound on an exit ramp at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Jeep traveling westbound on Mockingbird Lane. The impact sent both vehicles under the bridge near a support pillar. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported three people to a hospital, with one listed in critical condition and two others in serious condition. Police said the driver of the dark-colored car failed field sobriety tests, was taken into custody, and was later identified as 24-year-old Jaydon Lang, who faces two charges of intoxication assault with a vehicle.

High-speed and suspected intoxication crashes can leave victims with catastrophic injuries and long-term medical needs. Investigators may need to review speed evidence, toxicology results, field sobriety findings, dashcam footage, surveillance video, crash scene measurements, vehicle damage, witness statements, roadway lighting, exit ramp design, and event data recorder information to determine what happened and who may be legally responsible.

If you were injured in a Dallas car accident, Mockingbird Lane crash, Harry Hines Boulevard collision, high-speed wreck, or suspected drunk driving accident, you may have the right to seek justice and pursue compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, mental anguish, impairment, disfigurement, and other damages.
